TCPA & Do Not Call Policy
How Leads Registry obtains consent, maintains do-not-call suppression, and complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule and the CAN-SPAM Act.
Last updated: August 4, 2026 · Effective: August 4, 2026
Purpose of this policy
Leads Registry LLC maintains this policy to document how we obtain, record and honour consumer contact preferences. It applies to all telephone calls, text messages and commercial email initiated by us or by any vendor acting on our behalf.
Every employee and contractor with access to outbound contact systems is trained on this policy at onboarding and at least annually thereafter. Compliance is a condition of employment and of every vendor agreement we sign.
Our consent standard
We do not call, text or email consumers who have not given consent. Where prior express written consent is required, we obtain it through a form that includes:
- A clear and conspicuous disclosure placed immediately adjacent to the submit action, in readable type — never collapsed, hidden or set in low-contrast text
- The identity of the seller or sellers who may contact the consumer
- An express statement that automated technology may be used to place calls or send texts, where applicable
- The types of communication the consumer will receive — calls, texts, email — and a note that message and data rates may apply
- An unchecked checkbox requiring an affirmative act by the consumer
- An express statement that consent is not a condition of purchase
Every submission is captured with a third-party certificate (TrustedForm or Jornaya LeadiD), a timestamp, an IP address, the page URL and the exact disclosure text displayed at that moment. These records are retained for at least five years.
Do Not Call registry compliance
Before any outbound telephone contact we scrub against:
- The National Do Not Call Registry maintained by the Federal Trade Commission
- Applicable state do-not-call registries
- Our internal do-not-call list
- Known litigator and wireless flag databases
Scrubbing is performed against current registry data on a schedule no less frequent than every 31 days, and immediately before any campaign launch. We retain evidence of each scrub.
Internal do-not-call list
We maintain a written internal do-not-call list. A request to stop contact is honoured for the requesting telephone number, email address or individual, permanently, unless the consumer later provides new express consent.
Opt-out requests are recorded within one business day and propagate to every dialer, CRM, messaging platform and vendor system we use within five business days at the outside — usually far sooner.
How to be removed
- By phone: tell any caller you wish to be added to the internal do-not-call list
- By email: send the number or address to privacy@leadsregistry.com
- By text: reply STOP to any message from us
- By mail: Leads Registry LLC, Winchester Rd Unit #113, Lexington, KY 40505, United States
Calling hours and identification
We place calls only between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the consumer's local time zone, and we observe stricter windows where individual states require them.
At the start of every call our representatives identify themselves by name, identify the company on whose behalf they are calling, and state the purpose of the call. We transmit accurate caller ID with a telephone number that a consumer can call back and reach a live person or a functioning message line.
We do not use abandoned-call practices in excess of the limits set by the FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule, and where an abandoned call occurs we play the required recorded identification message.
Text messaging
SMS programmes operate on a separate, express opt-in. We do not add a consumer to a text programme because they consented to phone calls.
- Opt-in is confirmed with a message describing the programme, message frequency, and that message and data rates may apply
- Every message identifies the sender and includes opt-out instructions at the required cadence
- STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL and UNSUBSCRIBE are honoured immediately and confirmed once
- HELP returns support contact details
- We follow CTIA messaging principles and carrier requirements in addition to the TCPA
Commercial email (CAN-SPAM)
All commercial email we send complies with the CAN-SPAM Act:
- Accurate "From", "Reply-To" and routing information
- Subject lines that reflect the content of the message
- Clear identification as an advertisement where required
- A valid physical postal address in every message
- A conspicuous, functioning unsubscribe mechanism honoured within ten business days — in practice, immediately
- No sale, transfer or continued use of an address after an opt-out
Call recording
We record inbound and outbound calls for quality assurance, training and dispute resolution where permitted by law. In two-party consent states we provide notice at the start of the call and obtain consent before recording. Recordings are stored securely with restricted access and retained in line with our Privacy Policy.
Vendor and partner requirements
Any publisher, affiliate or vendor generating contacts for Leads Registry must, by written contract:
- Obtain consent meeting the standard described above and supply the certificate with every record
- Permit disclosure review and provide live access to any page collecting consent on our behalf
- Perform DNC and suppression scrubbing before delivery
- Prohibit incentivised, co-registration and misleading traffic sources unless expressly approved in writing
- Submit to audit, including sampling of live pages and consent records
- Indemnify Leads Registry for claims arising from non-compliant traffic
We terminate vendors for material breach. We would rather lose supply than inherit liability.
Training and monitoring
Staff with outbound contact responsibilities complete compliance training at onboarding and annually. We monitor call recordings on a sampling basis, audit consent records monthly, and review live landing pages for disclosure integrity every quarter. Findings and corrective actions are documented.
Complaints
If you believe you received a call, text or email from us in error, or without your consent, contact privacy@leadsregistry.com. Please include the number contacted and the approximate date and time.
We investigate every complaint, add the contact details to our internal do-not-call list immediately, and respond in writing with our findings within ten business days.
