How Leads Registry collects, uses, shares and protects personal information, and the rights available to residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other U.S. states.

Last updated: August 4, 2026  ·  Effective: August 4, 2026

Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Leads Registry LLC ("Leads Registry", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and safeguards personal information when you visit leadsregistry.com, complete a form on our site, call or text us, or otherwise engage with our marketing services.

It applies to information we handle as a business or controller — that is, for our own purposes. Where we process personal information on behalf of a client under a services agreement, we act as a service provider or processor, and that client's privacy policy governs how the information may be used. Requests relating to information we process on a client's behalf should be directed to that client; we will forward or assist where required.

We are a United States company based in Lexington, Kentucky. This site is intended for users located in the United States.

How we use personal information

We use personal information for the following business purposes:

  • To respond to enquiries, provide quotes and deliver the services you request
  • To administer and fulfil contracts, including billing and account management
  • To send marketing communications where you have opted in, and to measure their effectiveness
  • To operate, secure, debug and improve our website and services

  • To establish, exercise or defend legal claims

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

How we share personal information

We share personal information with:

  • Service providers who process information on our behalf under written contract — hosting, email delivery, CRM, analytics, call tracking, lead verification and payment processing vendors.
  • Clients, where you have submitted an enquiry through a campaign or property operated on behalf of a named client and consented to that contact.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors and insurers, where necessary.
  • Authorities, where required by law, subpoena, court order or to protect rights and safety.
  • Successors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to the protections in this policy.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some uses of advertising and analytics cookies may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under California and other state laws. You can opt out at any time through our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, our cookie settings, or by transmitting a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage and server logs to operate the site, remember preferences, measure performance and support advertising. Full detail — including the categories used and how to control them — is in our Cookie Policy.

We recognise and honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information for residents of states that require it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

  • Right to know / access — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes and the categories of recipients.
  • Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out — of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising.
  • Right to limit — the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
  • Right to appeal — if we decline a request, you may appeal that decision using the contact details below. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and other states with appeal rights will receive a written response within the statutory period.

These rights are provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act and comparable laws in other states, to the extent they apply to us.

How to exercise a right

Submit a request through our privacy request page, email privacy@leadsregistry.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request — typically by confirming information already in our records, or by email verification. Authorised agents may submit requests on your behalf with written permission and verification of their authority.

We respond to verifiable requests within 45 days, and may extend by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you.

Marketing communications and calls

If you provide your telephone number and consent, we may contact you by phone or text about your enquiry, including using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or ask any caller to place you on our internal do-not-call list.

Marketing emails include a working unsubscribe link and our physical mailing address, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. We honour opt-out requests promptly and in any event within ten business days.

Our full outbound contact practices are described in the TCPA & Do Not Call Policy.

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, and then delete or de-identify it. Typical retention periods are:

  • Enquiries that do not become clients — 24 months from last contact
  • Client records and contracts — 7 years after the end of the engagement, for tax and legal purposes
  • Consent records and lead certificates — 5 years, reflecting applicable statutes of limitation
  • Call recordings — 12 months unless a longer period is required for a dispute or legal hold
  • Analytics and log data — 14 to 26 months depending on the tool

How we protect information

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored records, role-based access control, multi-factor authentication on administrative systems, vendor due diligence and periodic access reviews.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable state breach-notification law.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Third-party links

Our site links to third-party websites and services we do not control. This policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit from ours.

Visitors outside the United States

We operate in the United States and our servers and service providers are located there. If you access this site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies to a specific engagement, we will agree appropriate transfer mechanisms in the relevant contract.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be announced on this page, and where required, by direct notice. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
