Our commitment

Leads Registry LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

We believe an accessible website is both a legal responsibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and simply the right way to build. We hold our own site to the same standard we apply to client work.

Conformance standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning and neurological disabilities.

We consider this site to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Substantially conformant means most of the site meets the standard, with some exceptions noted below.

Measures we take

• Semantic HTML structure with correct heading hierarchy and landmark regions
• A visible "skip to main content" link at the start of every page
• Full keyboard operability, with a clearly visible focus indicator on every interactive element
• Colour contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG AA requirements for text and interface components
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative images marked as such
• Form labels programmatically associated with their inputs, with errors described in text rather than colour alone
• ARIA attributes used where native semantics are insufficient, and not used where they are
• Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting; animations are disabled for users who request it
• Responsive layouts that reflow to 320px without horizontal scrolling and support 200% text zoom
• Accessibility included in our development definition of done, not added at the end

How we test

We combine automated and manual testing:

• Automated scanning with axe and Lighthouse during development
• Manual keyboard-only navigation of every template
• Screen reader testing with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
• Colour contrast verification against WCAG AA thresholds
• Zoom and reflow testing at 200% and 400%

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. We are working on these:

• Embedded maps. The Google Maps embed on our contact page is a third-party component whose accessibility we do not control. We provide the full postal address and a text directions link as an accessible alternative.
• Third-party embeds. Content served from external platforms may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We evaluate accessibility when selecting vendors and raise issues with them.
• Older documents. Some archived PDFs may lack full tagging. We will supply an accessible version of any document on request.

If you encounter a barrier on this site, or need information in an alternative format, please tell us. We treat accessibility reports as priority issues.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two business days and to provide a substantive response, including a remediation plan or timeline, within ten business days.

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, which enforces the Americans with Disabilities Act. We would prefer to resolve the issue directly and quickly, so please do give us the opportunity first.
